Working with their partners, the Office of Economic Development creates customized programs to help clients accomplish their unique goals.
A wide variety of location-specific financial assistance programs exist for the Smart Growth Arts and Entertainment District, Community Legacy Area, Enterprise Zones and Historic Districts. Numerous tax credit programs and special loans for historic properties are also available. For individuals who also choose to reside in downtown Hagerstown, the city offers special additional loan and grant programs to assist with renovation costs.
