Brownfields Cleanup Revolving Loan Fund
Loans available to cleanup environmentally contaminated properties as a mechanism to facilitate redevelopment of such sites. Eligible projects are those whose applicant, property, and cleanup plan have been approved for participation in Maryland's Voluntary Cleanup Program. It is anticipated that origination fees will range from 0%-2%, interest rates will range from 2% to market rate, and terms will range from 2-8 years. Loan maximum of $106,000 to $142,000 (in initial round of loans). This program will go into effect in the Spring of 2001.
