Opening in downtown Hagerstown in August 2009 is the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, a public high school for the performing and visual arts. The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) campus, which opened in January of 2005, recently expanded its course offerings in a variety of growing fields including business, education, engineering, nursing and computer technology. Hagerstown Community College (HCC), Maryland’s first and fastest-growing community college, offers more than 100 programs of study, while Kaplan University offers 17 convenient courses of study in today’s most sought-after fields. It all adds up to premier educational experience.
