HCC to Host Alternative Energy Technology Open House

Hagerstown Community College will host an open house for its Alternative Energy Technology Program on Sat., Dec. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m., at its Valley Mall Center.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about HCC’s training for the growth industries of wind, solar, and geothermal energies. Instructor Tony Valente will give a demonstration of some of the technologies at 1 p.m. Industry professionals will also be on-hand to answer questions. A prize raffle will also be held.
