Light Business Park to See New Development

Construction activity will begin soon on three new buildings at the Light Business Park in the Eastern Boulevard area. On December 8th, the Hagerstown Planning Commission approved two site plans in this newly developing business park: 1) a three story, 54,000 square foot medical office building for Trilogy Enterprises, LLC at the corner of Cameo Drive and Imperial Drive; and 2) a 9,000 square foot building for the Bright Eyes Day Care Center at the corner of Cameo Drive and Omega Drive. When its complete, Capital Women's Care currently located in the Robinwood Medical Center will relocate to the new medical building on Imperial Drive. JBD, LLC will begin construction of the Bright Eyes Day Care Center in early 2011 and the building will be ready for occupancy by the third quarter of 2011. Earlier this year, the Planning Commission approved a site plan for a 10,822 square foot medical office building for Antietam Pediatrics on Omega Drive. Approved as an 18 lot business park, there are still 13 lots available for development.
